“me los quitan de las manos”, the title, is a popular spanish expression used by market vendors to describe products so desirable that customers “take them straight from their hands” before they sell out.
“qué le pongo?”, the classic spanish invitation to order.
the model is styled in a way that references the archetypal spanish woman at the market. she’s carrying two bags of produce reimagined through beauty products.

capstone project - master’s in fashion and beauty communications
april 2026the campaign aims to generate brand awareness and positioning among gen z. the pieces are presented as collectible fashion objects, released in limited capsules available for only one day in selected cities and online.

in this way, the campaign speaks to an audience that may admire vintage ikea pieces but cannot necessarily afford them or accommodate them within their spaces. instead, they are offered the possibility of “wearing the ikea archive” to express their passion for interior design through another form of identity and self expression they deeply connect with: fashion.
